Toxic Shock Syndrome? Do symptoms start right away?
I forgot to take out my tampon before I went to bed. I think it was in for like 18 hours. Now I am scared I may get TSS. Do the symptoms start right away or take a couple days? So far I do not have a fever and feel fine but I am paranoid I may get it. This is the first time this has happened. Please help!
Generally within a few hours. Relax or you could cause yourself to get symptoms. Stressing out about something can actually make your body sick like just by not feeling good. I don’t think you have or will get TSS because you probably would have felt it by now. But DO NOT!! use tampons for the rest of this period. You need to let your body rest wait until next month to use tampons again.
